Ambulance for Palliative Care, Koottanad, Palakkad, Kerala (Feb 2026)
As part of its commitment to meaningful community impact, Ekatvam supported palliative care services in Kerala through the donation of a fully equipped ambulance.
In palliative care, timely access to medical support is essential. This initiative helps bridge that gap by enabling safe and responsive transport for patients requiring continuous care, whether between homes, hospitals, or care centers.
Beyond infrastructure, this effort reflects Ekatvam’s belief in compassionate service ensuring that individuals receive dignity, comfort, and support during life’s most vulnerable moments.

Restoration of Sanghamitra Home For The Aged – Hyderabad, Telangana (March 2025)
They don’t have a website for them as they are a low key self-funded organization working for the cause with support of few select donors. This is what made us select them to support their work and needs as we were inspired with the intent and commitment of the founders & their work team.
Ekatvam undertook the restoration of the Sanghamitra Home for the Aged in Hyderabad, which had been left in a severely damaged condition due to natural calamities.
Recognizing the urgent need, the initiative focused on structural repairs and essential improvements to make the facility safe, stable, and livable once again.
More than rebuilding a structure, this effort was about restoring a sense of dignity and belonging for its elderly residents creating a secure and nurturing environment they can continue to call home.

Nightingales Medical Trust
Nightingales Medical Trust (NMT) is a professionally managed not-for-profit organization working for the wellbeing of the elderly and persons with Dementia and Alzheimer’s since 1998. NMT strives to strengthen family bonds and promote community based support systems for Senior Citizens of all socio-economic groups through various innovative and need-based projects aimed towards Dementia Care, Active Ageing, Social Integration, Livelihoods, Capacity Building and Prevention of Elder Abuse. Many of these projects have become models and have been replicated in India and abroad. Though this organization is well known, we decided to work with them in the initial years of setting up Entrust Foundation. We had donated to them supporting them in few of their specific projects to improve their existing facility. The entire team of Entrust Foundation, including the founders and volunteers spent meaningful days there engaging with the elderly people getting treated there. We also organized a special daylong event to support the care givers who work tirelessly supporting the elderly needy ones there.

Vishranthi Trust
Vishranthi is a multifaceted center for senior citizens, orphans, and rural vocational training near Jadigenahalli on Hoskote-Malur Road, Bangalore. It provides a peaceful haven where elders can live with dignity and care. With seniors making up 25% of India’s population—a number set to rise—the lack of social security for them is a growing concern. More initiatives like Vishranthi are crucial to safeguarding their well-being and raising awareness about elder care. While respecting elders has always been part of our culture, modern life’s fast pace has strained family relationships. In nuclear households with both spouses working, shifting priorities have led to a decline in traditional values, making support systems like Vishranthi more essential than ever. We chose this organization about 8 years ago and continue to work closely with them supporting their cause. We have been regular donors to them and have taken part in various initiatives run by them as donors / volunteers. We have provided opportunity to few interested elders to attend music concerts. The Founders & volunteers spend select days every year with the elders and kids who reside in their facility and engage with them on lively conversations making them feel belonged.
